English Morello cherry trees are late ripening and the fruit may sometimes be eaten fresh when they are fully ripe. They are dark red to nearly black with dark juice. They are a small, round headed tree with drooping branches (easy to harvest). English Morello's are self-fertile and were introduced to America prior to 1862.
