The Lee mandarin, believed to be a descendant of a Clementine and Orlando tangelo cross produces a medium size fruit with a sweet aromatic flavor. The medium-size tree has dense foliage and produces a heavy crop. This nearly thornless tree has good hardiness and its fruit usually has many green tinted seeds; however, it may be seedless if grown without a pollinizer. Somewhat easy to peel. Holds fairly well on the tree.
