Perhaps the world’s most versatile wine grape.

Perhaps the world’s most versatile wine grape. A round medium sized grape that is black to purple in color. It has bueatiful orange-red fall colored leaves.

Zinfandal is used in many different styles of wine. When made into red wine it can produce wines ranging from light, nouveau styles to hearty robust reds with berrylike, spicy (sometimes peppery) flavors. It has plenty of tannins and alcohol and enough depth, complexity, and longevity to be compared to Cabernet Sauvignon.
